These terms apply to donations made to LAHAT Foundation Ltd through this website, including donations to Our Safe Place and School Kids.
Who you are giving to
Donations are received by LAHAT Foundation Ltd (ABN 74 670 634 312), a registered Australian charity endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient. Our Safe Place and School Kids are initiatives of LAHAT Foundation Ltd.
Tax receipts
Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. You’ll receive a receipt by email for every donation, which you can use to claim the deduction. Giving on behalf of a business? Add your business name and the receipt will show it.
Receipts are issued by our donation platform, Donorbox, on behalf of LAHAT Foundation Ltd. If you can’t find a receipt, check your spam folder or email us at [email protected].
How your donation is used
- General fund: a gift to the general fund supports the work of LAHAT Foundation as a whole. We direct it to where it is needed most across Our Safe Place and School Kids.
- Initiative donations: a gift made to Our Safe Place or School Kids is used for that initiative.
- If an initiative ends, any recurring donations to it will be redirected to the general fund, and we will let you know by email.
Recurring donations
You can give monthly, quarterly or annually. You can change or cancel a recurring donation at any time from the link in your receipt email. Changes apply from the next scheduled payment.
Refunds
If you made a donation in error, or the amount was wrong, email [email protected] within [TODO: number] days of the donation and we will arrange a refund. Please include your name, the date and the amount. Once a refund is made, the tax receipt for that donation is no longer valid.
Payments and security
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Card details are not stored on our website. See our Privacy Policy for how donor information is handled.
